Icelandic level I will be taught Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 09:00-11:00.

Icelandic level II, III and IV will be taught Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 17:30-19:30.

The courses will be held at The Intercultural Center at Laugavegur 71. To register please call 530 9300 between 9 am and 5 pm.

The Intercultural Center has moved to Laugavegur 71. After a trial period at Ofanleiti it became evident that the downtown area is the most convenient for those who use our services. We are therefore happy to welcome all to our new location which is easy to find at the second house from Landsbankinn on Laugavegur.

Alþjóðahúsið hefur flutt að Laugavegi 71. Eftir reynslutíma í Ofanleiti hefur komið í ljós að miðbærinn er þægilegri staðsetning fyrir þá sem nýta sér þjónustu okkar. Við fögnum því að geta boðið alla velkomna á nýja staðinn sem er auðvelt að finna í þarnæsta húsi frá Landsbankanum við Laugaveg. 

The legal and social counsel for immigrants at The Intercultural Center will be discontinued at the end of June. This is due to the decision made by The City Council that The Reykjavik Municipality will now provide legal and social counsel and support for immigrants within its social welfare structure at the Social Welfare Office for the Downtown and Hlíðar area. This does however not change anything concerning The Interpretation, Translation and Education Service - it will continue its services at its same location without any changes.

Lögfræði-og félagsráðgjöf fyrir innflytjendur í Alþjóðahúsi verður hætt í lok júnímánaðar þar sem ákveðið hefur verið í borgarráði að Reykjavíkurborg muni hafa lögfræði-og félagsráðgjöf og stuðning við innflytjendur á sinni hendi innan félagsþjónustu sinnar í Þjónustumiðstöð Miðborgar og Hlíða. Þetta breytir hins vegar engu um starfsemi Túlka- þýðinga- og fræðsluþjónustunnar sem mun halda áfram starfsemi sinni í óbreyttri mynd.

THE INTERCULTURAL CENTER HAS MOVED

The Intercultural Center has moved its operations to new and improved facilities at Ofanleiti 2 which is a building belonging to The Reykjavik University across the street from The City Theater (behind Kringlan). We are located on the ground floor and welcome everyone.

ALÞJÓÐAHÚS ER FLUTT

Alþjóðahúsið hefur flutt starfsemi sína í nýtt og betra húsnæði að Ofanleiti 2 sem er hús Háskóla Reykjavíkur gegnt Borgarleikhúsinu (bakvið Kringluna). Þar erum við á jarðhæð og bjóðum alla velkomna.
